Look at where the hole are for the mounting screws. They are quite a bit different. The 67 only has two holes on the bottom for mounting and the 68 has three. Also the upper mounting clips are very different and are not compatable either, but I will not posting a picture of them, need to save attachment space.

The bezels from original SS cars & from original Malibu cars are almost completely different pieces. The SS strips are chromed plated plastic. The Malibu versions are two pieces, an aluminum bezel with a thin steel insert with a woodgrain applique.
