Hi fellas- I have some problems determining the date of manufacture on my model 1893 30-30 rifle. I asked about it a long time ago, was told manufacture date around 1906. After reading the posted serial # pages, I am confused. Serial number on my gun is D1118- according to the posted pages (sheet 2) date of manufacture is 1947.
