Btw, mage is really bad f3-f7. In f7, mages are only good if you have a Hyperion and 3/4 storm/full storm + Legendary Sheep. But yes, I would get blue whale for tankiness, get a good sword for healing. But I don't recommend mage for f4-f7. I do have experience so don't tell me I don't know what I'm talking about.My normal setup is 3/4 storm with either wither goggles or head liv-dag for lcm damage (miniboss) sceptre for clearing ice spray cuz lcm is hard to hit on young speedy bois wither pet for bosses (mostly f6 cuz finding a f7 party without hyperion is hard, so yeah this is for f6) sheep for clearing and blood rushing Edit: Cata 28 btw Should i ...yes if you can't afford Hyperion as mage ur dead weight. switch to archer w/o Hyperion for less dead weight and some more alive weight but still pretty dead. LCM setup would involve a GS/Claymore for dmg (+ a few other things) and RCM involves pure right click like Ss and midas staff. You also build it differently compared to RCM. Tf is LCM.

Right-Click Mages are slower than other classes, so you may want to get a Black Cat Pet or Spirit Boots. They are also very squishy, so get a decent healing source, like a Ornate Zombie Sword or Wand of Mending, and don't go for the warriors in F2.
