If I was looking to attempt this swap myself I think the best option would be to see if a pre-2004 hardtail kit could work on a 2004+ frame. It looks like that could work as the hardtail kit on a rigid mount frame includes the rear motor mount section as well and would eliminate the issues with the swingarm and what not.
