Hey guys, I like several others am trying to tune my '96 LT1 Camaro with a 24X EFI connection. I would like to start of list of things that need to be changed from an '01-'02 F-body tune. From what I've seen of the tunes posted, I think there are some things missing. This list will ignore obvious engine/cam specifics that should be set with a WB and focus on those things that are LS1 --> LT1 ...Being a converted car, the base tune is a barely modified LS1 stock tune that comes with the kit. The setup is a LT1 with a comp cams 503 cam. 224/230 @.050, .536 intake lift (with 1.6 roller rockers) .544 exhaust. It's got longtube headers, cold air intake, 3 inch exhaust from the off road Y pipe all the way back.Torqhead experience: Yes I do. Pros Very simple install; if you want plug and play simplicity, this is the only option. IMO: quality system Abolutely yes; great for tuning beyond the capabilities of the stock computer.
