Jeep compass shuts off while driving.

Hello everyone! I have a question about a 96 Grand Cherokee Limited, 149k mi. For the last couple days my Jeep has been shutting off while driving. It seems to happen when the engine gets hot or after its been running for a while, usually 20+ minutes. Ill be driving along and my engine just shuts off. Sometimes the fuel filter gets enough crud in it that it restricts fuel flow and when the engine dies the fuel system catches up and will start again. You might just change the filter and see if that helps. The oil and antifreeze may be a separate issue.
