Mar 9, 2019 · The Extar EP9 is a small, lightweight pistol chambered in 9mm Luger (including +P ammo). It mostly follows the venerable AR-15 pattern, with some differences. It comes from the factory with an SB Tactical SOB brace and one Glock pattern magazine. Mine came with a Magpul 21-rounder. The Extar EP9 appears well built. The Extar PDW Pistol Grip is a full-size AR-15 compatible grip. Bought my Extar EP9 last week. Initial impressions were good and the fit and finish were much better than I had expected out of such a cheap pistol. The only issue I have found is that the Korean 33rd mags are a tight fit. They do not drop free but seat well. That is more of a mag issue than the gun.
